Ingredients
 

  • 10-12 - Large Raw & Shelled Prawns
  • 4 Tbsp (56g) - Unsalted Butter
  • 4 - Garlic Cloves, Grated
  • 2g (0.1oz) - Flat Leaf Parsley
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste
  • Red Chilli To Garnish

Instructions

  • Butterfly the prawns by slicing under the belly from tail to head using kitchen sheers. Open it up and clean out the intestinal tract.
  • Melt the butter, add the garlic and parsley, and season to taste. Brush the garlic butter over the prawn flesh and season to taste.
  • Heat your BBQ to max temp. Place the prawns, flesh side down, on the grill for 1 minute. Flip the prawns onto the shell and cook for 2 minutes. Remove. While cooking, baste over garlic butter.
  • Garnish with red chilli slices and garlic butter. Serve and dig in.

Garlic Butter Grilled Prawns Storage Instructions

If you wish to store the grilled prawns, they’ll last up to three days in the fridge and two months in the freezer. Freezing is not recommended. 

Garlic Butter Grilled Prawns Reheating Instructions

The grilled prawns can be eaten hot or cold. If you’d like to reheat them, do so back on the bbq for one minute on each side. Alternatively, they can be reheated in a pan over medium heat.
