Ingredients
 

Chicken & Marinade

  • 1kg (2.2lbs) - Chicken Wings, Tips Removed
  • 100g (3.5oz) - Honey
  • 110ml (110g) - Soy Sauce (Low Sodium Can Be Used)
  • 2 - Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 10g (0.3oz) - Ginger, Peeled & Minced
  • ½ Tbsp (10ml) - Olive Oil

Garnish

  • 2 - Spring Onion (Scallion) Thinly Sliced (Green Stem Only)
  • 1 Tbsp (10g) - Sesame Seeds, Toasted
  • 1 - Long Red Chilli, Thinly Sliced (Optional)
  • Small Handful Coriander (Cilantro)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 190°c - 375°f.

  • Prepare the chicken wings into wingettes & drumettes, removing the wingtips.
    Prepare Chicken
  • In a bowl, add the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger & olive oil, whisk to combine.

  • Add the prepared chicken into the marinade & mix well. Wrap the bowl tightly & marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.

  • Place the marinated chicken onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, reserve the marinade. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

  • Remove the chicken from the oven & baste with the reserved marinade, completely covering everything. Flip the wings & place them back into the oven for 10 minutes. Repeat the basting process again & bake for a final 10 minutes.
    Baste Chicken
  • Remove the chicken from the oven, place the wings into a bowl, add over the garnishes & serve with the remaining sauce. Dig in.
    Serve
